One of my passions has always been genealogy. Over the years I have collected photos and documents that filled filing cabinets but weren't easy to share. Since starting my own family tree website I have found that it is a relatively easy way to organize and display historical documents, and add to the family tree. Since it is my own site I can invite whomever I want to view my tree or even to help edit and add branches. This is not so easy to do at subscription genealogy sites.
Below is an example from the page of my husband's grandfather. It includes his birth/death certificates, census records, burial records and pictures.
